Free yourself from the conventional! Fresh, feminine and a little bit funky, my BoHo Hoops are your perfect jewelry accessory and the perfect jewelry project. Build them plain for a simple, classic hoop or add gemstones for a glimmer of color.

In this class, you’ll learn to anneal and harden…forge and texture…shaping the metal to your will. You’ll learn how to create three different styles of hoop earrings; BoHo, Abacus and Lodestar Lantern, as well as how to make perfect ear wires. My approach to jewelry making is casual in method, yet I demand perfection from my pieces. I'll show you how to achieve this balance with simple tools and key techniques resulting in distinctive and elegant pieces.

You'll have the ability to post photos of your work, chat with other students, post questions and get the answers you need. My workshops are fluid, work-at-your-own-pace classes with a friendly, classroom atmosphere.

BoHo Hoops

Originally from Oregon, with a long stop in Texas, I now live in the wild west of Wyoming where my husband was born and raised. Wyoming has always been home to me and we're lucky to have an amazing, old farmhouse built in 1900, that sits at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains. We are host to deer, pheasant, wild turkeys, bald eagles, great horned owls, moose, osprey and even a bear in our yard. This is the setting for Owl Creek Studio, and the inspiration for much of my work.

Through years of practice in metalsmithing and jewelry making techniques I've developed a unique style of my own. I traveled the country, for years, to feed my love of teaching and discovered a true passion for sharing my knowledge of technique and design. I was one of the first instructors to offer online jewelry making classes and am proud to offer excellent and inspiring creative content, online and in person.
