A gorgeous handmade clasp will add that "just right" finishing touch to your pieces. In this class, I'm going to show you how to construct a myriad of lovely and functional clasps as well as beautiful crimp end connections and other components...mostly cold connected. No soldering needed! This workshop will help you see the unlimited options and variations when it comes to closures for your jewelry pieces.

Originally from Oregon, with a long stop in Texas, I now live in the wild west of Wyoming where my husband was born and raised. Wyoming has always been home to me and we're lucky to have an amazing, old farmhouse built in 1900, that sits at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains. We are host to deer, pheasant, wild turkeys, bald eagles, great horned owls, moose, osprey and even a bear in our yard. This is the setting for Owl Creek Studio, and the inspiration for much of my work.

Through years of practice in metalsmithing and jewelry making techniques I've developed a unique style of my own. I traveled the country, for years, to feed my love of teaching and discovered a true passion for sharing my knowledge of technique and design. I was one of the first instructors to offer online jewelry making classes and am proud to offer excellent and inspiring creative content, online and in person.
